Avatars?

Hey gang, I'm actually starting to learn some of this blog stuff, and I am very pleased to see many of you have joined me here. Please bear with me if it takes a little time to get back to you by email or in the comment section. While I love corresponding with all of you, I still have to actually schedule and host a channel (and radio show) each week as well, so time can be a little tight sometimes.

Okay for all of you wondering about those goofy, yet colorful and happy, little icons that pop-up alongside your comments - you can customize them. Hey, I know many of you longtime blogger folks are rolling you eyes at me thinking, DUH!

Anyway, for the rest of you like me who are still learning all this you can go to www.gravatar.com sign-up for free and pick your very own icon, either from the web, from their site or even your own computer. I've updated mine with one of the few times I get dressed up. In October I had the pleasure of introducing the late, great Jimmy Durante into the Radio Hall of Fame and that meant a wearing a "monkey suit".

So if you like the little goofy guys, please feel free to keep usin' 'em, if not head to gravatar and get your very own.

Greg.

The only face I had for my favorite 'voice' for the longest time is my avatar.
Phil Harris is a constant source of enjoyment for me but his voice work on Disney movies has been with me almost my whole life and I'll be forever grateful to him for doing those jobs...

John,

Aww, you beat me to it! Not only is Phil Harris my favorite but we even share a birthday, I should have grabbed that avatar! You win it fair and square, maybe I'll track down Thomas O'Malley from Aristocats.

Have a great weekend.

Greg.

Now it is up! Yes the owl is what I wanted but had some blue blob at first.

Hey Greg, I would never leave you. I am ridiculed at how much I listen to XM. Even with my copies of some of the show I have purchased, I rather listen to you telling us cool tidbits.

I may not have time to visit often, but if you put up the poll and announce it, I will be back in a flash. I am very interested in what your listener base prefers.

Keep talking, Greg
