Lauren wins my heart every time I hear her voice. I love listening to her and Bogey. Bold Venture might not be the most sophisticated program but it is perfect as it was designed - a great vehicle for the two of them. Just can't get enuf of them.
Same as Boston Blackie - to my ear it's horrible production values, terrible writing, and they just don't seem to have rehearsed their lines... but I love it!!

I am certianly old enough to know Lauren and Bogey as a youngster. I really enjoy listening to their programs and I did hear To Have and Have Not. Very good program. Just wanted you to know I am listening. Jerry

To Have and Have Not is a real favorite. I used to have a video tape, pre-Katrina. I missed The Man From Sumatra but hope to catch it if it airs again. I grew up with all the radio programs in the 40s and enjoy hearing them again. Even more, I enjoy hearing the programs that were not broadcast in my area, including the series with Bogart and Bacall. They make the hour and a half commute every morning and evening so much more enjoyable ... and relaxing.

I am not much of a guy who thinks in so deeply about web design but I think your post had some valid points in it. Like designers are forced to design stuff within the limited code available and not go beyond it, their innovation is somewhat limited but still I think Web Design won't die! I agree that Amazon and other some big sites won't have a blog but now a days it's very important to have some sort of option available so people can quickly communicate their thoughts. I think Amazon if wants to shift it to that, they can get a customized CMS for themselves.
