On our Veteran's Day special; it's an hour long Lux Radio Theatre version of the 1943 motion picture; "So Proudly We Hail" featuring three lovely ladies, Claudette Colbert, Paulette Goddard and Veronica Lake. It will be followed by Norman Corwin's powerful end-of-World-War-Two special "Fourteen August" starring Orson Welles.

Another film comes to radio as well; a 1949 half-hour version of "The Shop Around The Corner". The romantic story has been adapted for radio by the aforementioned Corwin and features big screen stars, Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan (yes that is how she spelled her surname).

The third film for radio follows a regular Fibber McGee and Molly half-hour with a Screen Guild Theatre version of their picture "Heavenly Days".
