My apologies to listeners viewing the blog through a feed reader and not the web page itself. Apparently if you don't go directly to www.gregbellblog.com, but instead access it through a reader, you get only the postings and not the photos of me, and more importantly the link the schedule right below it.
I will try to find another way to make it easy to find and try to remember to put them in the entries like you can see above.
Meanwhile, lots of fun this week. Jerry Lewis is 83 (March 16th, 1926) so we have back to back Martin & Lewis Show episodes followed by Dean & Jerry's 1949 visit to The Bob Hope Show.
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, we have an hour long Town Hall Tonight starring Fred Allen and originally broadcast on March 17th, 1937. Then its a half-hour Duffy's Tavern and then the St. Patrick's Day 1941 episode of The George Burns & Gracie Allen Show
Finally, we bring back Lux Radio Theatre's version of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre starring Humphrey Bogart and Walter Huston with supporting help from Frank Lovejoy and Gerald Mohr. It will be followed by Jack Benny's parody epiode poking fun at that film.
