First of all; I want to thank Kenny Curtis of Kids Place Live for filling in for me while I took a week off. I also want to thank Craig Ferguson of the CBS Late Late Show.
While most of you were very kind in your comments; I do take some issue with the folks who felt the two of them were not knowlegable enough about the shows on the channel. What I do is very specialized and it is unfair to hold Kenny and Craig up to the standard I set as the host of the channel.
Kenny's job was to keep the channel on the air for one week and he did a great job at doing just that.
Meanwhile, I understand that Ferguson's humor is not for everyone, but he is a true fan of the shows and the channel and meant no disrespect whatsoever, he was just having fun (in the same fashion he entertains on his CBS late night talk show). If you took the time to listen to the recorded sit down I had with him (recorded back in the spring and then broadcast last week), you would have clearly heard that even though he does not know all the series, he loves the shows on the channel All in good fun, okay?
Anyway, it is great to be back and here are a few photos from my weeklong family trip to Colorado;
